Innovations that transform lives…where do they happen? In sophisticated labs? Using ultra-modern technology? And advanced equipment?
No. Not always.
Because when an idea or an innovation is driven by empathy towards the less-privileged and the determination to resolve their hardships, the way forward inevitably appears before you. Everything around you becomes a resource. Whatever you place your hands on, becomes a valuable equipment. And you realize that you are inside one of the grandest labs…a lab called life.
Aarohan Social Innovation Awards will recognize and reward social innovations in the following categories:
From making healthcare accessible to all strata of society, to helping better diagnose diseases, we are looking for innovations that will help people and communities live healthier lives.
Right to education may be a fundamental right in India, but poverty denies many the childhood they deserve. If your prototype can make a difference in the field of education and sports, share your idea here.

From better access to products related to personal hygiene, helping women build a fulfilling career, to ensuring their safety, we’re looking for innovations that can empower women, build pride and make them self-sufficient.
Innovations that can help us preserve precious natural resources, move towards sustainable development and maintain ecological balance.
