John Del Mixon speaks of his experience in managing Data Centers. The session will also address models and best practices that can enhance the quality of services delivered to Business while managing costs effectively.



John Del Mixon is Managing Director of Information Technology Services at Service Corporation International. He is responsible for all aspects of corporate information technology.

Mr. Mixon joined SCI in 1995 and started his career there by managing various applications development and data warehousing projects. He spent four years working for SCI's European subsidiary to lead Y2K remediation and Euro conversion projects. He later served as CIO for O.G.F., a French subsidiary company.

Prior to joining SCI, he served as Consulting Project Manager for Accenture, formally Andersen Consulting. He was a Commissioned Officer, achieving the rank of Captain in the United States Army from 1985 - 1989.
