Session Overview
Shreyas Kamat of Infosys presents a session on Enterprise SOA - Leveraging the Technology Competency Center model for effective adoption in the Enterprise Architecture Management stream.

SOA is gathering momentum. Many organizations are adopting SOA at an enterprise level. As the SOA hype metamorphoses to real world implementations, organization are realizing there are many impediments to successful SOA adoption and growth. SOA is just not about integration at a platform or an application level, but it is about a culture change within the organization. It is about how the traditional Business-IT interaction happens, and a paradigm shift from the IT as a ‘technology provider’ to IT as a ‘business enabler’. Understanding this impact of SOA adoption on the enterprise and creating a structure to effectively manage this change is no longer an option – it is mandatory. A Technology Competency Center (TCC) provides the structure by utilizing the Federated Enterprise Architecture principles.

This session touches upon the various SOA capabilities, adoption challenges and how a TCC addresses these challenges.
