Sohel Aziz and Thomas Obitz, of Infosys, present a session on Enterprise Architecture Benchmarking Survey.
Enterprise architecture is the key to providing enterprise agility and managing innovation with strategic business acumen.
Infosys aimed to understand the key concerns impacting enterprise architecture programs and best practices to overcome them. To this end, we conducted a survey investigating
- Key drivers and objectives of enterprise architecture
- Current focus of enterprise architecture teams
- Process and approach followed to achieve the desired results
- Structure of the Enterprise Architecture function and its alignment inside the organization
- Metrics to track and measure success
The survey demonstrated that in most organizations Enterprise Architecture has been accepted as a key component of the overall IT operating model. It can enable business value creation through IT as well as efficient IT management.
