Kris Gopalakrishnan recognized as a global business thinker

Kris Gopalakrishnan

Kris Gopalakrishnan, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Infosys, has been selected in an elite list of global business thinkers – Thinkers 50. The biennial list of influential global thinkers was compiled by Des Dearlove and Stuart Crainer, in association with the IE Business School, Madrid, and the London Business School's Management Innovation Lab.

Business people, consultants, academics, and MBA students from around the world selected their business gurus. The choices were then assessed based on the originality, practicality and impact of ideas presented by the business thinkers, among other criteria.

Kris is regularly invited to share his perspective on business and technology at global conferences. At the World Economic Forum 2009, Kris participated in a roundtable discussion on 'The Global Compact: Creating Sustainable Markets.' In his address, he urged voluntary adherence to the United Nations Global Compact, the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative, to regain the trust of the public in the private sector.
