Infosys bags CII-ITC Sustainability Award

Infosys has won the CII-ITC Sustainability ‘Significant Achievement' Award under category 'A' for large business organizations with a turnover of Rs. 500 crore. The award recognizes our efforts towards deployment of sustainability policies and processes.

The awards were announced at a presentation ceremony in New Delhi on Jan 14, 2013. President of India Pranab Mukherjee presented the awards to the winning organizations. Srikantan Moorthy, Senior Vice President and Head of Education & Research, Infosys received the award on behalf of the company.

The annual CII-ITC Sustainability Awards are conferred on Indian businesses that demonstrate excellent performance in the area of sustainable development.

Instituted in 2006 by the CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development, the awards recognizes exemplary performance in economic, social and environmental dimensions of Indian business.
