Infosys was honored as the 'IT Services Provider of the Year – Banking Financial Services and Insurance Sector’ by Frost & Sullivan, during the 2015 Frost & Sullivan ICT Awards held at Le Meridien, New Delhi on June 18, 2015. The award is testimony to the innovation that Infosys brings to the market through cutting-edge solutions and next-generation banking services.

The 2015 Frost & Sullivan India ICT Awards, currently in its 13th year, acknowledges companies and individuals who push the boundaries of excellence – rise above competition and demonstrate outstanding performance in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector.

According to Frost & Sullivan, the key factors which set Infosys apart were:

  • Customized pricing models offered to each client and encouraging them to move from traditional pricing models to non-linear, fit-for-purpose pricing models to derive high value in client engagements
  • Dedicated practices in the areas of advanced technologies like mobility, and services like Mobile Wallet, Mobile Commerce, and Mobile Self Care, which help enterprises adapt to their changing customer landscape
  • Leading solutions and services such as Finacle, AssistEdge, BrandEdge, CreditEdge, Cloud Ecosystem Hub, Infosys Information Platform, and Infosys Data Governance Tool, which help deliver accelerated innovation to clients

““This is a wonderful recognition for the investments and the efforts we have put into our business. This will encourage us to do better and keep adding more to our clients through innovative next generation solutions.”

The award banquet witnessed the assembly of leading names from the country’s ICT enterprises. The award recipients were judged on the basis of several parameters that involved in-depth primary interviews of various industry participants and secondary research conducted by Frost & Sullivan analysts. To incorporate the end-user perspective, the data was then presented to an elite panel of jury comprising the most prominent CIOs / CTOs in the industry.

This year, 29 awards were presented in four award categories – Enterprise Infrastructure, Emerging Software Products and IT Services, Enterprise Telecom Services, and Mobile and Wireless. Infosys won the award in the ‘Emerging Software Products and IT Services’ category.
