Infosys Confluence 2016 In Focus

Analysts Jeffrey Hojlo, Leslie Hand and Kimberly Knickle from IDC Manufacturing Insights, published their perspective on Infosys’ annual thought leadership summit - Confluence. The perspective emphasizes on key organizational initiatives like Zero Distance and New and Renew – coined by Infosys CEO, Vishal Sikka. The Mana (now part of Infosys Nia) platform, launched during the event, is also in focus, as is Design Thinking, “a catalyst for innovation”, in which 90,000+ Infosys employees have already been trained. Analysts highlighted the brilliant keynotes by Al Gore, Bran Ferren, and a spirited panel discussion on tennis and analytics during Confluence 2016.

The analysts note that many industries are going through digital transformation to “differentiate their offerings beyond systems integration and beyond consulting to design thinking, education, and software.” In that regard, Infosys is no different. The company’s new set of tools is “getting manufacturers to think differently about innovation.”

IDC sees Infosys working to demonstrate its ability to lead companies to the future, with industry-specific capabilities and a combination of services and tools that can appeal to both IT and the line of business.
