'Europe will be our second market behind the U.S.'

Infosys sees Europe as an emerging market and is focused on growing much faster in the continent. In an interview with The Financial Times, B. G. Srinivas, Executive Council Member and Head of Europe, Infosys discusses how Europe will be an engine of growth for the company.

Srinivas says that Infosys will increase its presence in Europe either by starting operations in countries such as Russia or through acquisitions. He adds that the company is targeting revenue of 40% of global sales from Europe.

Infosys has steadily increased its footprint in Europe by expanding sales and marketing offices, and hiring local talent across the European Union.
