Statement from Infosys Foundation

Infosys Foundation, the philanthropic and CSR arm of Infosys, today stated that it has been alerted about some individuals and groups engaged in collecting money from unsuspecting members of public, traders and other business entities claiming to represent the Infosys Foundation, and that the said contributions will go for the philanthropic activities of the Foundation.

The Foundation is also in receipt of copies of appeals for funds typed on a fake letterhead of the Foundation, bearing forged signatures of Mrs. Sudha Murty, Chairperson, Infosys Foundation.

Infosys Foundation is shocked by these activities. Infosys Foundation neither requests for nor accepts donations for its activities aimed at giving back to the society. The Foundation uses its own funds for all its projects and programmes. (For a bird's eye view, please visit: https://www.infosys.com/infosys-foundation/)

The Foundation appeals to all members of public not to fall prey to such conmen who seem to have mastered the art of extracting money from people by inventing stories linked to Infosys Foundation.

The Foundation humbly requests you to alert DCP (South), Bengaluru City, Tel: 080- 26635199, or contact the nearest police station. Helping the police identify such people will be of great help to the society.

In addition, please email foundation@infosys.com with information about such fraudsters, and alert the Foundation if you come across any instances of forgery in Infosys Foundation's name.
