Indranil Mukherjee – Vice President, and Global Leader of Oracle Practice, Infosys

On behalf of Infosys, I take great pleasure in welcoming you all to Oracle OpenWorld 2016; to be held between September 18–22, at San Francisco, USA.

The annual event that attracts the great gurus in technology and business from across the globe, will throw more light on how digital is disrupting businesses and changing customer expectations and behavior. Established market leaders are being challenged by start-ups that flourish using newer business models and service offerings to disrupt stoic standards. So, if your enterprise wants to stay nimble, adaptable, and digital by the extremely dynamic market place; then this event is perfect for you. It is a fact that migrating business processes, services, and infrastructure to the cloud helps enterprises to better address customer requirements and market feedback. The growing trend of service-as-an-economy has seen the emergence of multiple cloud service models — platform-as-a-service (PaaS), software-as-a-service (SaaS), database-as-service (DbaaS) and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) — that prove repeatedly that cloud is one of the best-bet to optimize digital capabilities and take new-age challenges head on.

That’s why, organizations are moving to the cloud to quickly derive business value. Using ubiquitous customer experience and social media analysis leveraging Big Data Analytics on Cloud, the focus is higher than ever before. At Infosys, we are passionate about cloud technologies and collaborate with our customers on their various cloud transformation journeys — human capital management (HCM) cloud, customer experience cloud (sales, service, and marketing), supply chain management (SCM) cloud, ERP including finance & procurement cloud, OTM/GTM cloud along with PaaS and IaaS. We have successfully adopted an approach called ‘Zero Distance’ to proactively uncover the business potential and develop accelerators, solutions, and best practices that not only meet customer requirements, but also help them identify newer areas of business value. What’s more, our proprietary RapidStart cloud implementation methodology leveraging our SmartSuite solutions, which are integrated with Panaya assure enterprises achieve quality with speed-to-market.

At this year’s Oracle OpenWorld, the Infosys motto is ‘Zero Distance to Digital.’ I am happy to let you know that our Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Vishal Sikka, will be delivering an executive keynote on September 20 at 1:30 pm. During his talk, he will share his unique perspective on how technology can amplify people to accelerate the pervasive and purposeful digitization of the world around us. He will also speak about how business leaders are leveraging a knowledge-based artificial intelligence (AI) platform, to capture the deep knowledge, data, insights, and know-how within their organization to drive agility in their businesses and deliver new kinds of value for their companies and stakeholders.

That’s not all, as Oracle’s Diamond partner, we will have a strong presence at our booth — 1301.
