"The fascinating thing for me was not being around for 15 years and coming back to the ATP World Tour to see so many changes. Technology has enabled players to gain so much knowledge and insight into their game. As a result, players now have detailed match strategies and game-plans. With rapid strides in technology and availability of more statistics in tennis, every player and coach is going to benefit out of it. Technology is here to stay and it's going to be a big part of the game in the future."
Pat CashFormer Wimbledon Champion
"Infosys can provide new statistics, which can potentially be handed to coaches pre-match. Strategies can be deduced, potentially coaches can come onto court like in the WTA and raise the excitement level to a new high. Back in the day when we finished a match or had an injury, we were told there’s a bucket of ice, make an ice pack and stick it on your arm. In Barcelona and lot of other places today, they have cryotherapy treatments which is basically a big truck with temperatures like -140 degrees and a player has to go in. That is the kind of recovery technology today and it’s only going to get better with aspects like Virtual Coaching coming in."

"These new statistics offer players, fans and media interesting new insights into how our athletes are rating in three key areas against their peers on the ATP World Tour. There is huge potential to understand our sport better through the development of new statistics, and we look forward to further advances coming soon in this area through our partnership with Infosys."

"We're delighted with the technology leadership that Infosys has brought to our partnership. What Infosys demonstrated at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals using their open data analytics platform – Infosys Information Platform (IIP) – made tennis so much more exciting for our fans and sport. Analyzing such huge volumes of data to find the right insights that helped deliver in-time foresight into the game was a first for ATP. We look forward to developing many such exciting initiatives, along with Infosys, to help reimagine the experience of tennis for us all."
