Infosys implemented a custom Fiori/UI5 mobile friendly application on SAP EAM to track the hours of work, tasks and expenses for the client’s field staff. The custom built application enabled employees to submit timesheets online anytime, anywhere. Infosys phased out the legacy applications by direct data integration with the client’s SAP systems. This enabled faster decision making leading to 100% reduction in manual data entry and rework.
Infosys streamlined and automated the client’s inbound and outbound warehouse processes including Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Put Away and Consolidation. Infosys provided applications on handheld devices for warehouse users to scan bar codes for incoming goods and print these bar codes on Wi-Fi printers anywhere in the warehouse. This helped the client save approximately 90 minutes from the Goods Receiving process for every shipment and bring about up to 50% improvement in productivity through the Goods Issue process.
