Max Chan is Vice President of IT responsible for providing solutions and support for Avnet's corporate services groups including business intelligence, finance, human resources, legal and communications. He also manages Avnet's Global Development Centers in China. He reports to Avnet's Chief Information Officer.

Chan joined Avnet in 2013 as Vice President of IT for Avnet's Technology Solutions business in Asia Pacific. In this role he led critical system implementations and enhancements, helped build Avnet’s Global Development Centers and drove process improvement initiatives in the region.

Before joining Avnet, Chan held several IT leadership roles including Chief Information Officer, Asia at VF Corporation and Vice President, IT, Building Efficiency, Asia at Johnson Controls.

Chan has a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Malaya in Malaysia and an MBA from Birmingham University in the UK.
