Sarah Burnett is an Executive Vice President and Distinguished Analyst at Everest Group with global responsibility for the company’s Service Optimization Technologies (SOT) research program. As part of this, she researches and advises clients on digital and automation technologies, such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and global service provider’s capabilities in these fields, best strategies for adopting and best practice in implementing them. Sarah and her team have produced some of the most compelling service delivery automation reports and thought leadership pieces including the annual RPA Technology Peak Assessment, the AI market report and papers such as Reimagining the Employee Experience in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.

Sarah is chair of BCSWomen, the women’s group of the British Chartered Institute for IT (BCS), and founder of AI Accelerator, a programme of free AI events, seminars and webcasts by experts, to inform and educate participants. AI Accelerator was recently a finalist in Equals in Tech awards, set up by UN Women, ITU and other partners to encourage more women into the field of technology.

Sarah is one of Computer Weekly’s 50 most influential women in UK IT (2016, 2017, and 2018), AI Leader finalist by Information Age in 2018 and Digital Leaders’ Champion for the UK South East 2017.

As well as contributing to media, Sarah often speaks at clients’ and industry events and webinars. She is active in social media with frequent blogs and Twitter posts (@SarahBurnett).
