Shaun partners with business, transformation, operations and others within HSBC to drive On Premise and Cloud based technology solutions centred on mitigating financial crime risk and regulatory compliance adherence. On the Data side, his portfolio includes technologies that support data quality, data reconciliation, data governance, data privacy and Big Data where he has responsibility for a Lake which serves data analysts, investigators and others across HSBC’s compliance function. On the MI side, he supports solutions which enable insight into the data; insight categorised as inherent risk, investigative and operational. Technologies that support anti-bribery and corruption and enterprise wide risk assessment also form a part of the portfolio that he looks after.
