Arthur Gillion joined the Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) in February 2016.
As AGPC’s General Manager - Marketing, he is responsible for the marketing and brand strategy for the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix and Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix annual events, including research and insights, advertising, all digital channel performance, product development, customer experience and ticketing.
Arthur enjoys the opportunity to tell a local story of both events that support the global visions of Formula 1 and MotoGP.
Arthur started his professional life in Marketing for Powerboat P1, delivering the Powerboat World Championships across Europe and Superstock Championships in the UK. He then moved to Australia in 2011 to work for Hyundai A-League giants, Melbourne Victory Football Club, as Marketing Manager.
He has a passion for the sport and entertainment industry in Victoria and feels fortunate to play a role in growing and showcasing Formula 1 and MotoGP brands on a global stage, contributing to Melbourne and Victoria’s visitor and experience economy.
