Renowned Tennis Strategy Analyst

Craig O'Shannessy is widely respected as the world leader in the tennis industry researching and teaching the strategy of the sport. Craig is the strategy analyst for the ATP World Tour, Wimbledon, New York Times and the Federation of Italian Tennis. Craig runs a tennis strategy website at braingametennis.com that delivers new tennis knowledge for players, coaches and fans.

Craig's data analysis work with Team Novak Djokovic form 2017-19 helped the Serb return to the number one ranking and win four Grand Slam titles including back-to-back Wimbledon titles. He is also on the coaching team of Matteo Berrettini, helping take the Italian from outside the Top 50 into the Top 10 in 2019, including reaching the semi-finals of the US Open. Craig's work simplifies the game, uncovers key patterns of play and disrupts a sport that has traditionally relied on feel - replacing myths with metrics.

Craig is a native of Australia, and came to the USA on a collegiate tennis scholarship, where he was an All American. Craig now lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife Kelly and two children, Rourke and Riley.
