Beth Johnson

Chief Experience Officer, Citizens Bank

Beth Johnson is Chief Experience Officer (CXO) of Citizens Financial Group, Inc. and a member of the executive committee. Johnson leads an organization focused on driving digital transformation to deliver excellent experiences for our customers in a rapidly changing banking environment. Specific areas of responsibility include digital and customer experience, data strategy, advanced analytics & AI, marketing, communications and enterprise payments strategy and infrastructure. In addition, Johnson, in partnership with technology, is overseeing a firm-wide Agile transformation effort.

Johnson previously served as chief marketing officer and head of virtual channels, responsible for corporate-wide marketing activities and for advancing Consumer Banking growth and profitability by leading and aligning the businesses’ strategy, brand, digital, customer experience and data analytics efforts. She joined Citizens in October 2013 as head of Corporate Strategy.

Prior to joining Citizens in 2013, Johnson was a senior leader at Bain and Company. She served as a partner and leader of its customer strategy and marketing practice in NA, specializing in financial services. She regularly co-authored Bain’s annual Customer Loyalty in Banking study.

Johnson also held roles at J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs, where she focused on fixed income and derivatives products for commercial banking clients as well as risk management. She earned a bachelor's degree in economics and MMSS (Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences) from Northwestern University and an MBA from Stanford University.

Diana Lee Caplinger

Executive Vice President of CRM, IA & Personalization, Truist

Diana Caplinger is a respected technology leader whose experience has shaped the digital landscape for national and global companies alike. Her milestone accomplishments include leading all technology integration for Truist Financial marketing technology (after the landmark SunTrust Bank and BB&T merger); moving SunTrust to the cloud years ahead of industry trends; and launching Coca-Cola’s SharePoint intranet portal for 30K+ global employees.

With broad knowledge in finance, marketing, technology, and career advancement, Diana is a dynamic keynote speaker and mentor. At Truist, Diana leads a team in creating and deploying new product vision and strategy, while also ensuring the operational efficiency for robotic processing automation, eSignature, and Salesforce enrichment. A major past project has been overseeing all technology activity for the new brand’s launch, including the “go-live” of truist.com.

Additional roles at SunTrust include Chief Administrative Officer of Consumer Technology; SVP, Head of Marketing Delivery in Consumer Technology; Group VP, Manager of IT Delivery as a member of the Digital Leadership team; and First VP, Program Manager in the Consumer Banking Program Management Office. Prior to joining SunTrust in 2011, Diana was a business management consultant managing multimillion-dollar, multi-year programs for the Coca-Cola Company, AT&T, Cox Communications, and more.

Diana received her executive MBA from Georgia State University (GSU), where she is often asked to be a guest lecturer. Her professional certifications include Certified Scrum Master, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, Certified Six Sigma Greenbelt, Project Management Professional from PMI, and a FinTech certification from GSU. She earned her BS in Computer Information Systems from Florida A&M University, which included internships at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center and the Ford Motor Company.

Diana is passionate about giving back her time, especially for financial literacy and STEM education programs. She partners with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a member of the Technology Advisory Council to provide her expertise on IT-specific initiatives. She is a Board Observer for Greenwood Bank, providing insight on product launch, marketing, and other technology matters. She is also an active member of the IT Senior Management Forum (ITSMF).

Possessing an entrepreneurial spirit, Diana is an active investor and business advisor. She and her husband live in Decatur, Georgia, with their teenage daughter.

Susan Cosgrove

Chief Financial Officer, DTCC

Susan Cosgrove is Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, leading DTCC’s global finance, treasury, strategic sourcing, real estate, corporate services, and new initiatives oversight teams. She is a member of DTCC’s Management Committee, Management Risk Committee and Co-chairs the Investment and Operating Committee.

Susan is the chairperson of DTCC’s Deriv/SERV LLC Board of Directors. In addition, she chairs the boards of several of the DTCC trade repositories: DTCC Data Repository (U.S.) LLC; DTCC Derivatives Repository Plc; and DTCC Data Repository (Ireland) Plc. In addition, Susan is a Board member of WisdomTree (WETF) and Ultimus Fund Solutions.

Prior to her current role, she was Managing Director and General Manager of Settlement and Asset Services, overseeing all depository businesses, and the General Manager for DTCC’s Equity and Fixed Income Clearing Services. Before joining DTCC in 1999, she served as a senior vice president at Lehman Brothers in charge of audit and compliance for the company’s Americas division. Before Lehman, she worked at Maxcor Financial Group for 10 years as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Compliance.

Susan began her career as a senior auditor in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ financial services group. She is a certified public accountant.

Kristie Edling-Day

Chief Information Officer, IIG – Vanguard

Kristie Edling-Day is a Principal in Vanguard’s Information Technology division, where she is the CIO for Vanguard’s Financial Advisor Services (FAS) and Institutional Investor Group (IIG) businesses. She loves business strategy and looks for ways to help business leaders understand and then harness the potential of technology.

Kristie’s corporate citizenship activities are focused on next generation leadership and talent development; she is especially passionate about developing and supporting female and minority leaders. She is responsible for oversight of the talent efforts across Vanguard’s IT organization and serves on Vanguard’s talent oversight committee.

Kristie joined Vanguard in 2006 as a software engineer in Vanguard’s Technology Leadership Program. She has spent the majority of her career in Vanguard’s IT organization, working on a range of technology initiatives and platforms; her deepest expertise is in mobile development. Before rejoining IT as a department head in early 2017, Kristie spent two years as a senior manager in Vanguard’s Corporate Strategy organization, where she developed a blueprint for the digital strategy in Vanguard’s Retail business and led a team that was responsible for developing the future-state vision and implementation plan for Vanguard’s marketing organization.

Kristie graduated with honors from the College of Charleston with a B.S. in computer science with concentrations in mathematics and physics. She also holds an M.B.A. with a concentration in human capital management from Saint Joseph’s University.

Skyler Mattson

President, WONGDOODY

Skyler Mattson is President of WONGDOODY, a human experience company powered by Infosys. She has built her career driving award-winning, transformative work for clients across a range of categories, from consumer-packaged goods to technology to education. She is Founder of The Motherboard, a global community of thousands of moms who share insights to help Fortune 500 companies innovate. The Motherboard was awarded by Fast Company as a World Changing Idea.

Skyler has led several female empowerment initiatives, including #TheReal10 which aims to close the gender pay gap and #IPumpedHere, which encourages workplaces to provide better facilities for breast-pumping employees. Putting philosophy into action, Skyler frequently lectures at Pepperdine University, speaks at industry events, and writes about the importance of bringing more diverse voices and perspectives to marketing and technology. She has been a delegate to the World Economic Forum and proudly serves as a board member for the Infosys Foundation. Skyler thrives in high-energy environments where you rarely sit down, which is a good thing, since her clients at home include three sons under the age of ten.

Dennis Gada

Industry Head – Financial Services, Infosys

Dennis Gada is part of the Global Financial Services Executive Leadership team at Infosys and is passionate about leveraging the power of technology to address challenges facing the financial services industry. Dennis’ expertise spans across various business competencies, including sales, strategy, consulting, marketing and general management. He has helped organizations drive large scale transformations and innovation at the intersection of business and technology.

He is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion. Dennis is also focused on bringing cutting-edge technology solutions to established financial institutions through collaborating across his professional network, including a wide ecosystem of experts, startups, and established industry players. Prior to joining Infosys, Dennis has worked at Accenture and PWC. He has lived and worked across APAC, Europe and the United States and has a great interest in culture, change and collaboration.

Inderpreet Sawhney

Group General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, Infosys

Inderpreet Sawhney is the Group General Counsel and the Chief Compliance Officer of Infosys. In this role she leads the legal and compliance function of the Company. She is a strategic business partner supporting the business in legal and regulatory matters and ensuring the implementation of the compliance and ethics program of the Company.

Inderpreet is a seasoned international professional with over 25 years of experience, including as a General Counsel of a large IT Service company, and as Managing Partner of a mid-sized law firm in Silicon Valley. She serves on the Board of Directors of NYSE listed Hillenbrand Inc. and is a member of the National Advisory Council of SABANA (South Asian Bar Association of North America).

In recognition for her work, Inderpreet has been awarded the 2013 NASABA Corporate Counsel Achievement Award, she was an honoree at the 2017 Transformative Leadership Awards, recognizing General Counsel who have demonstrated commitment to advancing women in law; recipient of the Thought Leadership Award at the 2018 Global Transformative Leadership Awards and was featured in the top 25 Women Leaders in IT Services of 2020, published by news portal The IT Services Report.

She is a frequent speaker at conferences globally.

Susan Rousseau

Global Head of Digital Strategy and Emerging Business, State Street

Susan Rousseau is the Head of Digital Transformation and Emerging Business at State Street Global Markets. Previously, she was the Head of Global Operations. Prior to joining State Street, she held a variety of roles at Fidelity Investments including Senior Vice President of Workplace Technology and Senior Vice President of Product Management.

At State Street, Susan is driving digital transformation and integrating technology for new growth businesses. She created the unified platform vision and has onboarded 5 low-code platforms; building innovative solutions to improve the client experience and drive productivity. Applications launched include an end-to-end client onboarding solution, a trade exception hub and an aggregated operations risk management framework that is pending patent approval.

Susan was on the executive board of Mass Technology Leadership Council for 10 years and is co-inventor of a US patent. She has an MBA from the Simmons College Graduate School of Management in Boston and a BA from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH.
