FTSE Russell assesses Infosys according to the FTSE4Good criteria –
which measures the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social, and Governance practices –
and inducts members as constituents upon them meeting the criteria.
Infosys has been recognized for the second consecutive year as a global leader in corporate response to climate change, and has been awarded a position on the 2018 Climate A List by CDP, a non-profit global environmental disclosure platform. Infosys is one of 127 companies across the world that made it to the A list from about 7000 global companies that responded.
Infosys has been recognized among the Top 100 Best Companies for Women in India 2017. The award, given at the 2017 Working Mother® and AVTAR Awards, recognizes companies leading practices in flexible work, women’s recruitment and retention, benefits, culture, and safety. Working Mother® is a gender parity champion in the US, while AVTAR provides second career options to women in India.
Infosys has been inducted into the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) and is now part of the DJSI World and DJSI Emerging Markets Indices. DJSI World represents the gold standard for corporate sustainability. This recognition is testimony to Infosys’ corporate sustainability leadership in the IT services and Internet Software and Services industry.
