Einsatz von KI revolutioniert den Tennissport: Infosys und International Tennis Hall of Fame verlängern Zusammenarbeit bis 2028

Infosys (NSE, BSE, NYSE: INFY), ein weltweit führendes Unternehmen für digitale Dienstleistungen und Beratung der nächsten Generation, und die International Tennis Hall of Fame (ITHF) verlängern ihre Zusammenarbeit um weitere drei Jahre. Die Partnerschaft unterstützt die Mission der Hall of Fame, die Geschichte des Tennissports zu bewahren – einschließlich der Aufnahmezeremonie, bei der 2025 unter anderem Maria Sharapova sowie Bob und Mike Bryan geehrt werden.

Infosys und die International Tennis Hall of Fame veröffentlichten im vergangenen Jahr das auf generativer KI basierte Fan-Spiel Famers Duel, das Infosys Topaz unterstützt. Tennisfans können dabei digitale Sammelkarten legendärer Spielerinnen und Spieler wie Tracy Austin, Stan Smith, Gigi Fernández, Leander Paes und Michael Chang erwerben. Die Karten werden mithilfe generativer KI individualisiert. Im Spiel treten Nutzerinnen und Nutzer im Tennis-Stil gegen Freunde, den Spiel-Bot oder andere Fans weltweit an – und erleben so ein arcadeähnliches Gemeinschaftsgefühl innerhalb der Tenniswelt. Die Einführung dieses Formats zeigt, wie moderne Technologien ein junges Publikum ansprechen und gleichzeitig die traditionsreiche Geschichte des Tennissports weitertragen können.

Das Spiel knüpft an bestehende Innovationen wie das 2023 eingeführte Metaverse Museum an. Dort erkunden Fans virtuell das Gelände der International Tennis Hall of Fame, überlebensgroße Hologramm-Statuen legendärer Spielerinnen und Spieler betrachten und mehr über deren Karrieren, Statistiken, Anekdoten und weitere Highlights erfahren. Bisher haben bereits über 10.000 Fans das Metaverse Museum besucht – ein klares Zeichen für die wachsende Reichweite und das starke Engagement dieser digitalen Plattform.
