Agentic AI driven commerce could completely change the way consumers are influenced in 2026. It'll change things in two different ways. In the more traditional model, where people are influenced through social media and the web, agentic AI can better integrate the experience. So when you see a product that way, you can immediately source it, get prices, get delivery dates and purchase it all driven through agentic AI, which is working with the e-commerce systems in the background.
It can also change the way influencers influence consumers because more people are using generative AI to discover products and have things recommended to them. So influencers in 2026 will need to learn how to better influence agentic AI.
