Christine Calhoun:
Jared – any closing thoughts you want to share?
Jared Spataro:
Thank you. We're at a really exciting time in the evolution of this technology. We started two and a half years ago with the advent of ChatGPT. I think people saw the potential of what the model seemed to be capable of. And the big question over the last two and a half years has really been this question of like, but where's the value? How do we apply it? I tend to think that this really is a technology that will have an impact that's as big as the Industrial Revolution. In the Industrial Revolution, we replaced physical labor with machines. And it took a while for that change to, I mean, we're still doing it today, quite frankly, but it took a while for it to take hold on the economy. I think the same thing is true here. We see great potential. But the world is wired, it's designed, it's created to work in a certain way, economies, industries, firms. So it's going to take us some time. I guess I'll go back to a point that really is on my mind right now. It takes real leadership. It's going to take a different brand of leader. It's going to take a different type of talent, I think, to envision the future and then to use this technology to make that future possible. And that's very exciting. The potential for changing the world in a really positive way is really there. And so that would be what I'd leave those who are watching today with is, wow, welcome to opportunity knocking at your door. Take advantage of that. Figure out what role you're going to play in this transformation, this shift, and then get after it. The world needs you.
Christine Calhoun:
Truly it’s an exciting time to see how AI is going to continue to change the world. Shishank, any closing thoughts from you?
Shishank Gupta:
I think we are in exciting times, right? I mean, the world is changing and you can see enough data to see how the adoption of AI is. It's one of those things that has just about touched everybody in some way or the other. Most of us may not even realize, but today we are leveraging or getting impacted by the way AI is in a positive when I say the word impacted. I want to summarize what I just said initially. I think we have to have the right mindset towards AI. We have to look at this as something that is amplifying our potential rather than something that we're competing with. It's important that for business leaders, Jared said to have the right vision and equally look at this as a major change, a positive change that is needed for our future and the businesses that we are in. Thirdly, I think it's important to us to start looking at measuring what is the right impact of AI. I think we've already started to see that where we are going beyond the efficiencies that the user would get out of this into more into business outcomes. And I think once we start to do that and we are able to measure the outcomes, it's going to be a very virtuous cycle. You will see more and more adoption of it and that will help the whole adoption process. And last but not least, AI is for everyone every day. I truly believe it. The question is not if it's for me. I think we just have to find the right use cases and just take it as a buddy and implement it in what we do. And I'm telling you, we'll all be very pleasantly surprised at how our lives are easier and we can do so much more fulfilling things every day.
Christine Calhoun:
It's clear that AI is transforming not just the tools we use, but the very nature of how we work, lead, and create value from empowering individuals to focus on higher impact work, to helping organizations drive real business outcomes. The future of work is already here, and it's human plus AI together. Thank you, Jared and Shishank, for sharing your insights and experiences.
Shishank Gupta:
Thank you, Christine.
Jared Spataro:
Pleasure to be here.
Christine Calhoun:
And as we like to say at the Knowledge Institute, until next time, keep learning and keep sharing.
