Infosys Topaz: Scaling Enterprise AI with Trust
Insights
- Enterprise AI adoption accelerates when trust, governance, and explainability are embedded directly into the architecture rather than treated as compliance afterthoughts.
- Ecosystem partnerships and AI-native platforms are becoming critical for scaling enterprise AI solutions across complex business environments.
- Cultural transformation and workforce readiness are as important as technology in unlocking the full value of AI at enterprise scale.
Ashiss Kumar Dash explains how the Infosys Topaz suite brings together architecture frameworks, accelerators, and responsible AI governance to help enterprises move from experimentation to scaled AI adoption. By embedding trust, accountability, and explainability into AI systems, Infosys enables organizations to deploy AI with confidence while accelerating business value. Dash highlights the importance of strong partner ecosystems, including Infosys’ collaboration with Cognition and its AI software engineer platform Devin, to help enterprises implement AI solutions at scale. He also emphasizes that successful AI transformation requires more than technology. It demands cultural change, workforce readiness, and responsible governance. With over 50,000 employees trained in responsible AI and thousands of certified specialists, Infosys is building the talent foundation needed to guide enterprises through the next phase of AI-led transformation.
Ashiss Kumar Dash:
Our Topaz suite of tools bring an architecture framework, accelerators, and responsible AI governance together to ensure that our clients are able to deploy AI at an enterprise scale and derive value out of it using guardrails that are essential for building trust and adoption. We are also working on building a very strong partner ecosystem so that we are not following the trend, we are shaping the trend. Recently, we announced a partnership with Cognition and their platform, AI software engineer platform called Devon is something that we as an SI are deploying at scale at the enterprise level. And we are going to deploy this at scale for our clients. So this journey will obviously have multiple partners coming together alongside our Topaz set of solutions. And this has given us phenomenal feedback from our clients, very positive feedback from our clients on how we are approaching this whole thing at Infosys. And we are super, super excited about this journey.
When it comes to large scale deployment of AI solutions at enterprise scale, trust is not just an issue of compliance. Trust is about helping accelerate the adoption of the solution. And we at Infosys believe that responsible by design is a core principle that organizations should take forward. There has to be very strong governance where accountability and ownership of the decisions made is clearly visible so that the decisions taken by the AI solutions are number one, auditable, they're explainable, and you're able to keep a log of them so that in future you're able to improvise on those. And the last but not the least, people and change management. I think that's an aspect that cannot be overstated. Driving a cultural change to get the best value of deployment of AI, people's ability to work with AI agents together in the entire workflow makes the AI journey successful for clients. At Infosys, we have trained 50,000 of our colleagues on responsible AI. There are 5,000 plus certified responsible AI specialists ready to be deployed in large scale enterprise solutions. And then we also have 250 of our executives trained on AI so that when they meet our client CXOs, they're able to talk about Infosys being one of the first SIs to have adopted the responsible AI playbook and our ability to implement solutions that have deep trust built in them comes out of these discussions.
