Our decarbonization solutions span exploration, production, and transportation of fossil fuels as well as industrial processes. We leverage quantum computing to manage decarbonization projects and establish industrial carbon hubs. Our carbon management solution, powered by quantum computing, optimizes systems with numerous micro-facilities, multi-modal transportation infrastructure, and complex supply chain networks. Significantly, it addresses the primary challenges of carbon management: network planning, dynamic fleet scheduling, real-time route optimization, capacity management, and end-to-end supply chain optimization.

Infosys Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) solution addresses the requirements of carbon capture and sequestration at scale. Our solution combines artificial intelligence (AI) / machine learning (ML) algorithms, image analytics and open source data models for large-scale carbon capture, transportation, utilization, and storage. It integrates data from multiple sources and systems to evaluate underground / offshore geological formations and their storage capacity and identify suitable sites for safe sequestration.

Our AI / ML platform analyzes subsurface and oil well portfolios as well as carbon emissions data and displays comprehensive carbon reservoir data in the CCUS dashboard. In addition, experts at CCUS remote operations centers can use the solution to undertake predictive monitoring of CO2 storage facilities. Notably, it supports carbon auditing as well as reporting across carbon cluster-to-sink projects.

Infosys leverages open source frameworks, reference architectures, and an ecosystem of partners to decarbonize existing production landscapes and reduce operational as well as supply chain emissions. Our greenhouse gas emissions management solutions detect breaches and trigger remedial action. Our predictive / condition-based asset maintenance solutions enhance efficiency and extend the lifetime of assets. We also devise plans and implementation roadmaps to repurpose existing energy investments for renewables and biofuels.
