The Infosys Polycloud Platform team developed a point solution and implemented four modules of the platform:
- Provisioning - Fully orchestrated automation for provisioning of IaaS services
- Orchestration - Provisioning workflows orchestrated with SailPoint, Terraform and other tools
- Self-healing - Automation of incoming alerts and incidents for self-healing by using resolver bots and machine learning workflows
- AIOps - Automation of alert and event management for root cause analysis and identification of incidents
Infosys enhanced the platform using agile scrum methodology. The scope included assessing the data models and scalability. Based on the needs of the application, MongoDB was selected for its flexible data model. Data was migrated from SQL Server to MongoDB using custom ETL. The user interface was revamped for responsiveness using Angular.js, providing a significantly better user experience.
Interactive dashboard provides visibility into operations
The Infosys team automated installation, configuration and registration of the Microsoft Azure VM Agent using the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. Our experts implemented tagging and automated server naming to comply with cloud operations standards. Moreover, automation unified the organizational structure, eliminating siloed processes and repetitive activities.
