Overview

Infosys Semiconductor practice offers consulting and support services for developing state-of-the-art embedded hardware and software systems. Our embedded software service footprint includes small form factor microcontroller units (MCUs) as well as chiplets for industrial machines and commercial devices, firmware, board support package, middleware, device drivers, board bring-up, and bootloader development. We offer multilayer PCB and FPGA-based designing, among other hardware design services. In addition, we undertake architecture designing, component composition designing, UX designing, and design verification.

Infosys has rich experience in embedded engineering spanning programming languages, hardware description languages, operating systems for specialized embedded systems, communication protocols, and integrated development environments (IDEs) for embedded applications. It enables us to convert ideas into functional products in accelerated timeframe.

Our multi-disciplinary team leverages Infosys Topaz, our AI-first set of tools and platforms, to analyze feasibility of niche embedded systems prior to design and prototyping. Functional simulations allow circuit and system design engineers to explore options for developing robust, fault tolerant, and secure software systems for highly resource-constrained hardware. Digital prototyping of software and hardware systems, and automated workflow-based concurrent engineering accelerate design cycles and development processes.
