Hear from carriers and other ICT Service Providers as they make the case for investing now in automated solutions for billing and settlement of services. Hear from solutions and other technology providers as they demonstrate some of the projects they are developing that will lead to real-time settlement of services using new technologies such as distributed ledger technology. This will be a virtual event, and while the CBAN Showcase is completely free to attend, you can choose either a 2-day or 3-day pass.

Automating settlement for Data on Demand – a case study

Lack of inter-carrier process automation such as agreement and billing lifecycle management leads to long lead time in service delivery, time to market, and inhibits carriers from providing services that require shorter lead time. Infosys is presenting the point of view on some key aspects of DLT-based multilateral agreement and billing solution for Data on Demand. The idea will be presented in collaboration with our partners CBAN and R3. The presentation will be followed by a DoD concept demo and Q&A session.

Managing Fraud for Telecom
Date: November 5, 2020
Infosys to present the point of view on anti-fraud solution for the telecom industry. The solution addresses some of the most prominent fraud types such as Wangiri and IRSF, through maintaining a decentralized hotlist repository managed by industry participants. We will talk about the recommendations on driving network effect (participation) and future roadmap, followed by a concept demo presented to selected members of CBAN consortia.

A seasoned IT Leader with rich experience in Technical Consulting and Delivery across technology and industry domains. Rohini has extensive experience in managing large accounts, incubating and developing new practices, and sustaining delivery excellence. Her passion for technology, coupled with all-round delivery experience, are key to the rigor she brings in driving innovation in her portfolio. As Practice Manager with the Blockchain Service line, she is responsible for thought leadership, design of disruptive solutions, and consulting towards blockchain-led business transformations for clients across industry verticals.

Arka Roychowdhury

Arka Roychowdhury - Principal Consultant, Blockchain, Infosys

Arka Roychowdhury, is presently working as a Principal Consultant for Infosys, focusing on distributed ledger technologies and its convergence with other emerging techs such as AI/ML and IoT. Although a technology enthusiast, he understands the limitations of a “technology only” intervention to social and business problems. That’s why his daily interactions span through technical and business partners to startups to academia, giving him multidimensional perspectives on pressing business and social challenges. Arka, holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering, and an MBA.

Mirko Voltolini

Mirko Voltolini - Global Head of Network On Demand, Colt

Mirko Voltolini is Global Head of Network On Demand at Colt, responsible for leading the effort to architect and develop the Colt network and product portfolio to deliver an online digital customer experience where customers order, design, and manage their network services on demand. He is responsible for the strategy, architecture, and development of the network technologies enabling Colt software defined on-demand network, the IT orchestration and monitoring capabilities, and the management of the on-demand product portfolio. He joined Colt in 2002 and has held several senior leadership roles in the technical development and engineering areas. Mirko is a member of the Board of Directors of MEF and leads Colt contributions to the definition of MEF standards. Mirko holds an MSc in Telecommunications Engineering from Politecnico of Milan.
