Watch NowOverview
Today’s consumers have become increasingly discriminating about the products they consume. Consumers are gravitating towards a culture valuing quality produce, health awareness, and sustainable farming practices. CPG companies want to ensure the products they source are ethically produced, and are compliant with all regulations. Regulators, for their part, are rightly concerned at the increasing incidence of product adulteration in the food supply and the time it takes to identify the source of outbreaks and respond effectively.
What’s needed is trustworthy end-to-end transparency and authenticated provenance along the multi-tier supply chain, not only to authenticate the origin of products, but also ensure that their ingredients are processed and handled properly at every stage of the Farm to Factory and Factory to Consumer process. One of the most important benefits of a blockchain-enabled CPG supply chain is reducing the instances of recalls due to mishandled ingredients. But should an outbreak occur, the system can also dramatically reduce its scope and response time. The end-to-end transparency also helps to anticipate disruptions in multi-tier supply chains, optimize the response and recovery efforts, and enable more agile onboarding of new suppliers.
Attend this webcast with experts from Oracle and Infosys to hear how blockchain technology can help ensure sustainable and safe CPG supply chains. You will learn:
