SPEAKERS:
Max Chan, Chief Information Officer, Avnet
Max Chan is Avnet’s chief information
officer. In this role, he is responsible for all information technology (IT) areas throughout the Avnet
ecosystem, including the delivery of strategic business IT and digital transformation initiatives. He
oversees the resources and capabilities of the global IT team and ensures that the organization maintains
a robust and optimized IT environment.
Chan joined Avnet in 2013 as vice president of IT for Avnet
Technology Solutions in Asia Pacific. He led critical system implementations and enhancements, helped
build Avnet’s Global Development Centers and drove process improvement initiatives in the region. In 2016,
he transferred to Phoenix to take on the global application and business relationship management role and
was promoted to CIO in 2019.
Prior to joining Avnet, Chan held several IT leadership roles,
including chief information officer, Asia at VF Corporation, and vice president, IT Global Supply Chain,
Building Efficiency at Johnson Controls.
Chan earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from
Malayan University, Malaysia, and a Master of Business Administration in strategy from University of
Birmingham, UK.
Ivar M Berntz, Sr Director Analyst, Gartner
Ivar M Berntz is an agenda manager in Gartner's Advanced Manufacturing and Transportation group within
Research and Advisory Services. Mr. Berntz advises CIOs and senior IT Leaders on strategies, plans,
approaches, technologies and processes, their impacts and requirements. He researches on how to leverage
frameworks and initiatives, specifically Industrie 4.0, information and technology assets to generate
IT/OT convergence, accelerate transformation and the sustainable attainment of digital business results.
Indranil Sircar, CTO for Manufacturing, Microsoft
Indranil is CTO for Manufacturing industry and is focused on shaping Microsoft’s industry solutions by
driving the full value of product innovation and roadmap to accelerate digital transformation and value to
customers. Indranil brings with him more than 30 years of experience and has been responsible for
establishing and driving Microsoft’s strategy for high-tech electronics, semiconductor industry and
intelligent supply chain.
Komal Jain, Vice President, High-tech Industry, Infosys
Komal Jain is in charge of High Tech, Semiconductor, ISV and Distribution unit at Infosys. He is a global
business leader in information technology, consulting and outsourcing industry and a trusted partner to
C-level leadership of many business organizations. Komal creates visions and designs strategies to build a
highly motivated and skilled team for delivering business and technology solutions to clients. As an
industry thought leader, he has authored several white papers in the areas of innovation, business
transformation and shared services and addressed several Industry forums.
Sanjay Ladha, Practice Lead, Americas - Microsoft Business Applications Practice, Infosys
Sanjay leads the Microsoft Business Solutions Applications Practice for Infosys for the Americas. He comes
with extensive experience in the Enterprise Solutions space in Global Sales, Digital Solutions and
delivering complex global programs. Having been associated with the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem for over
two decades, he is very passionate about the Microsoft platform and next-generation digital innovation
solutions thereby helping customers solve complex business problems and also help them undertake their
digital transformation journeys.
