The modern utility needs to continuously serve customers, even during a disruption. Digital consumers seek flexibility in energy sources, choice of DIY and self-service options, and customized tariffs for a convenient and seamless experience. Utility enterprises can engage with customers by pivoting to digital technology and by implementing customer information systems (CIS).
Welcome to CS Week 2021. Infosys is a Gold Sponsor of this year’s in-person summit. Meet our experts and learn how we are transforming digital utilities to manage change as well as customer expectations. Join us for a co-presentation with Southern California Edison. Learn how this leading utility navigated a migration from legacy systems to a cloud for customer (C4C) solution, involving millions of meters and billions of customer records.
CS Week is the premier customer service conference serving electric, gas and water/wastewater utility professionals. The agenda of CS Week spans the customer experience lifecycle: analytics, billing and payments, contact center, credit and collections, digital customer engagement, field services, and strategies and management.
Presentation: Lessons in Leadership
Description:
Southern California Edison, the primary supplier of electricity across southern California, partnered with
Infosys to drive a customer service transformation. The utility migrated a three-decade old legacy
mainframe-based customer information system to an SAP S/4 ISU and cloud-based C4C solution.
Lorene Miller of SCE makes a presentation on how 1,200 employees and six service providers worked jointly to
ensure the success of this mission-critical project. The solution migrated 5.5 million meters, 21 billion
records, 84 third-party integrations, and remediated 54 legacy systems.
