Council of the Great City Schools comprises of 75 large city school districts representing the needs of urban public schools in the U.S. Its mission is to advocate for inner-city students through legislation, research and media relations.
We at Infosys have had the opportunity to take a closer look at some of the challenges experienced by the education industry and identified ways to address them.

This year’s meeting of Chief Information Officers and their senior staff will focus on managing the complexities of 21st century enterprise information technology operations in America’s large urban school districts.
The meeting’s theme, “connecting the dots”, and its format will include:
- Structured work sessions, panel participation, and district/sponsor co-presentations that “showcase” strategies and technology innovations that improve core functions in large city school districts, and
