Through this partnership, Infosys Foundation intends to provide an impetus to Shishu Shiksha Samiti’s objective of working towards the ‘Vidya Bharati Multipurpose Educational Project’ to provide quality education by establishing an Assamese medium day school and English medium residential school, from nursery to grade 12. A sports complex for indoor and outdoor games for students and Teachers’ Training and Vocational Institute that will benefit more than 1 lakh people and 19 villages in Assam, will also be established.

The focus is on nurturing health and imparting education through a technology platform, and building a sustainable framework for the village community. This program is expected to benefit at least 20 village panchayats in Assam.

Kalyan Ashram

The intent is to minimize school dropouts and enhance the number of students completing elementary and secondary education by providing a safe and healthy environment for the residents.

Saraswati Smarak Samiti

The purpose of the grant to Saraswati Smarak Samiti is to facilitate the construction of a Seva Kendra in an attempt to uphold the rights and status of women in Assam through various initiatives. These include moral education, physical training and various vocational training programs with an objective to make women self-dependent.
