Celent Rates Infosys Finacle as a Leader in Corporate Digital Banking Platforms

Infosys Finacle, has been rated a Leader in Corporate Digital Banking Platforms 2021 by Celent in its North America and the EMEA/APAC/LATAM reports. The reports, titled ‘Corporate Digital Banking Platforms: North America Edition’, and ‘Corporate Digital Banking Platforms: EMEA/APAC/LATAM Edition’, evaluated 19 corporate digital banking platforms on a comprehensive set of 20 criteria focusing on three dimensions: Advanced Technology, Breadth of Functionality, and Customer Base & Support. Celent evaluated software providers in the corporate cash management space, spanning connectivity channels, information reporting, liquidity management, receivables, payables, fraud prevention, dashboard/home page features, and customer interaction mechanisms.

In addition, Finacle Corporate Banking Solution Suite was also recognized as a winner in the XCelent Awards for 2021, under Advanced Technology and Breadth of Functionality categories. Finacle is the only Solution Provider to win awards in both categories.

In the report, Celent highlights that “Corporate banking continues to play a dominant role for the largest global banks, with operating income growing year over year since the global financial crisis. Except for 2016, the top global banks sustained year-over-year growth in corporate banking operation income from 2010 through 2020. The year-over-year performance from 2019 to 2020 of 8.1% is especially noteworthy, as several banks made outsized profits from investment banking activities during the pandemic. In fact, in 2020, corporate banking was responsible for 41% of overall operating income across the 20 banks included in Celent's ongoing analysis”.
