Infosys Awarded the ‘2022 Advancement of Women in India Award’

Infosys has been awarded the ‘Advancement of Women in India Award’ at the 2022 Community Business Awards Ceremony. The recognition emphasizes Infosys’ efforts toward maintaining gender diversity as well as encouraging the participation of women in technology roles, management, and leadership. The award also highlights Infosys’ policies and investments which focus on learning, development, and impactful interventions for women to help navigate their professional and personal life.

The Community Business Awards celebrates responsible and inclusive business practices in Asia. The Advancement of Women in India Award recognizes a specific corporate initiative that has had a positive and measurable impact on supporting and promoting the advancement of women in the workplace in India. The award is a comprehensive benchmarking tool for India's employers to measure progress on advancement of women at various levels and examines areas such as the strategy, proactive measures taken and approach towards sustainability. The 2022 Community Business Virtual Awards Ceremony saw over 2000 participants come together to celebrate the winners.

Designed as a year-long program, in partnership with Stanford GSB, it provides holistic development opportunities for our women leaders globally. 'Restart with Infosys’ is an initiative that focuses on hiring women from career breaks, irrespective of the duration or reason for the break. A program called ‘Orbit Next’ is focused on strengthening the talent pipeline of women in middle management.
