Infosys Foundation Establishes Hostel for Tribal Girls in Raigad

Infosys Foundation, the philanthropic and CSR arm of Infosys, inaugurated a state-of-the-art girls’ hostel to help support students from underserved rural and marginalized tribal communities in Raigad, Maharashtra. This initiative, in collaboration with the Shrimad Rajchandra Aatma Tatva Research Centre, reflects Infosys Foundation's steadfast commitment to supporting education, building grassroots infrastructure, and creating opportunities to uplift underserved communities across India.

The hostel is designed to accommodate over 100 girls annually, offering them a secure and supportive residential environment. By addressing challenges such as long commutes, lack of infrastructure, and safety concerns, the facility aims to reduce dropout rates and ensure that students can have an uninterrupted focus on education. The Infosys Foundation has provided a grant of INR 9 crore to support this impactful initiative, demonstrating its commitment to driving positive social change. This initiative is also a step towards helping young girls achieve their aspirations and build a future.
