Infosys Announces Expansion of Indore Development Center

Infosys strengthens its presence in Central India, with enhanced capabilities in AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and next-generation digital services

Bengaluru, India – September 16, 2026

Infosys (NSE, BSE, NYSE: INFY), a global leader in AI-first business consulting and technology services, today announced the expansion of its Indore Development Center (DC) with the inauguration of a new Software Development Block (SDB-2) at its campus in the Super Corridor, Indore. The new 330,000-sq. ft. block further strengthens Infosys’ presence in Central India and its commitment to the region’s growing technology and talent ecosystem.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr. Mohan Yadav, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh; Shri Shankar Lalwani, Hon’ble Member of Parliament for Indore, Madhya Pradesh; and Shri Manoj Nirbhay Singh Patel, Hon’ble Member of Legislative Assembly in the presence of Infosys Leadership represented by Mr. Jayesh Sanghrajka, Chief Financial Officer, along with Mr. Sunil Kumar Dhareshwar, Executive Vice President, and Mr. Niladri Prasad Mishra, Senior Vice President, and other senior officials from the Government of Madhya Pradesh and Infosys.

Infosys Indore currently has more than 3,300 employees supporting global clients across Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), Retail, Life Sciences, and Manufacturing. The expanded center will strengthen Infosys’ capabilities in cloud, application development, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and cybersecurity to address evolving client requirements. The expansion will also enable Infosys to tap into Central India’s growing talent pool. Infosys plans to deepen its engagement with Madhya Pradesh’s academic and technology ecosystem through skilling programs and institutional partnerships, including engagement with IIT Indore, IIM Indore, and Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV).

The new building is aligned with Infosys’ ESG commitments and high-performance green building standards, and the center is designed to be environmentally friendly and energy efficient. It incorporates features like low-energy cooling, smart building automation, rainwater harvesting, and wastewater recycling. The facility will also be enabled with amenities such as flexible workstations, training facilities, and wellness centers.
