In 2017, buy-side participation tripled from 1007 in 2016 to a record 3074 companies, while sell-side participation rose by 42%, from 611 to 868 in 2017. This resulted in deep and detailed data to support the results. A record number of companies were nominated in 2017: 2,510 across 18 sectors, compared to 1541 companies last year. This meant only 2.1% of companies were recognized as ‘Most Honored Company’, while another 2.6% were recognized as ‘Honored Companies’.
