Young Australians are positive about technology, but not entirely satisfied about their formal education

Infosys is an organisation that is passionate about learning, we engaged the world’s youth to gain a better understanding of their readiness for the jobs of the future; 9000 students from across the globe (between the ages of 16 and 25) were surveyed; including 1000 Australian students. The results, recently released at the World Economic Forum, show that young Australians are highly aware of the increasingly pivotal role technology will play in their lives, but at the same time lack confidence in the skills they are being taught to remain relevant in the digital economy.

National Australia Bank transforms testing with Infosys

In partnership with Infosys, National Australia Bank (NAB) developed a charter aimed at increasing upstream quality in testing in order to cut costs by up to 40 percent over three years and ensure NAB’s staff resources are used to their full extent. As part of the effort, the bank recently decided to apply internal testing platform of Infosys to develop a testing unit estimation model (TUEM) to manage NAB’s own testing services.
