About the Speakers
Phaedra Boinodiris, Responsible AI leader, Author of "AI for the Rest of US", IBM A fellow with the London-based Royal Society of Arts, Boinodiris has focused on inclusion in technology since 1999. She currently leads IBM Consulting’s Trustworthy AI Practice, she is the AI ethics board focal for all of consulting, serves on the leadership team of IBM’s Academy of Technology and leads IBM’s Trustworthy AI Center of Excellence. She is the co-author of the book ‘AI for the Rest of Us’. Boinodiris is a co-founder of the Future World Alliance, a 501c3 dedicated to curating K-12 education in AI ethics. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in AI and Ethics at University College Dublin’s Smart Lab. In 2019, she won the United Nations Woman of Influence in STEM and Inclusivity Award and was recognized by Women in Games International as one of the Top 100 Women in the Games Industry as she began one of the first scholarship programs in the United States for women to pursue degrees in game design and development.
Steve Heibein, Chief AI Technologist, HPE
Steve Heibein is the US Federal Artificial Intelligence Lead for Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
Before HPE,
Steve served as CIO, CTO, or VP Engineering for 20 years at several tech and media
companies. In these
roles, he oversaw AI, machine learning, and data analytics projects in the areas of life
science, fraud
prevention, natural language processing, identity theft, cybersecurity, and energy
forecasting. Steve
advises organizations on the use and deployment of AI solutions and regularly presents on
the topics of
high-performance computing and artificial intelligence.
Ashutosh Dubey - Global Tech Leader AI, AWS
Ashutosh is a Global Technical leader and Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services based
out of New
Jersey, USA. He has extensive experience specializing in the Data, Analytics, and Machine
Learning field,
and has helped Fortune 500 companies in their cloud journey to AWS.
Mani Mahesh, Senior Executive, Products, AWS
Mani brings over 20 years of experience in various leadership roles spanning across Product
Management,
Strategy, Sales, Partner Management, and Engineering. At AWS, he is leading the Data,
Analytics, and AI/ML
initiatives for GSIs including Infosys.
Deverre Lierman, VP, Digital, Data & AI, North America Delivery, Infosys Deverre is an innovative transformation leader. She brings together a passion for IT and people to deliver awesome results. She is also a Fortune 50 digital transformation leader, driving strategy, business and organizational change for her clients and her company. She is an experienced leader and coach of large, global engineering teams, responsible for bringing new technology and ways of working from idea to implementation. Deverre drives continuous value delivery through Agile practices and development and deployment tooling that reduces risk, increases quality, and speeds time to market. She is a global people person, cultivating talent, creating a great working environment, and inspiring innovation and collaboration that generates critical business results.
Balakrishna D.R. , EVP - Global Head - ADM, AI and Automation, Infosys Balakrishna D.R, popularly known as Bali, leads the AI and Automation practice and the Industry Verticals at Infosys, helping clients transform their businesses. He also drives the adoption of AI and automation within Infosys in all service offerings and internal functions to improve efficiency and drive differentiation. Bali manages the P&L for Industry Verticals and is responsible for competency development and development of service offerings, solutions, platforms and partnerships in the AI and automation domain. He has managed several large programs for Infosys for different Fortune 500 clients.Bali works with governments, think-tanks, academia, industries, and other regulatory bodies on various topics including AI adoption, responsible and ethical use of AI, and more.
Vivek Sinha, AVP, Global Head of Sales - Infosys Topaz COE, Infosys
Vivek leads the AI and Automation portfolio at Infosys and helps clients transform their
businesses by
leveraging AI. He also drives the adoption of AI and automation within Infosys in all
service offerings and
internal functions to improve efficiency and drive differentiation. As an AI leader he is
responsible for
competency development, building service offerings, solutions, platforms, and partnerships
in this space. He
works with think tanks, academia, industries, and other regulatory bodies on AI adoption and
responsible and
ethical use of AI.
