Infosys named a ‘Leader’ in NelsonHall’s Big Data and Analytics NEAT Report 2018
Infosys has been recognized as a leader by the NelsonHall Vendor Evaluation & Assessment Tool (NEAT) report, 2018 for Big Data and Analytics. The company’s ability to meet future client requirements as well as deliver immediate benefits such as analytics, data management and support functions to its Big Data and Analytics services clients enabled Infosys to secure this position.
NEAT analyzed the performance of 12 vendors offering Big Data & Analytics services – in a market that is expected to touch $41.3 billion by 2021, according to the report. The vendors capabilities were assessed across several criteria including their focus on efficiency, operational improvements, propensity to seek new business models and automation. Infosys has been identified as a leader in all these areas, and has been highly rated for its focus on automation.
Vendors are identified in one of these four categories: Leaders, High Achievers, Innovators, and Major Players.

- Infosys was acknowledged for its strong offerings in big data, analytics and information management services
- The company’s endeavor in serving its clients better through its Data and Analytics (DNA) practice and the ‘Infosys Nia for Data’ platform were recognized in the report
- Infosys’ efforts towards investing and developing offerings around analytics, big data and enterprise data cloud over the next two years were also highlighted in the report. The report stated these capabilities will be used to ensure data quality across sources and reduce costs for clients through the use of open source software and cloud hosting
