Infosys Concludes HackWithInfy 2025; Reinforces Commitment to Nurturing Talent

Infosys successfully concluded the grand finale of HackWithInfy 2025, a nationwide annual coding marathon, at the Pune Development Center (DC). The 2025 edition, themed SPACE, encouraged participants to design innovative solutions for real-world problems. The fully sponsored finale brought together 100 of the country’s best coders, divided into 20 teams, to code, collaborate, and conquer.

HackWithInfy 2025 offered participants an experience that went beyond coding. Alongside the 40-hour hackathon, finalists engaged in leadership connect, project showcases, team-building activities and cultural performances during the award ceremony. The 20 teams were continuously mentored and evaluated by Infosys experts and presented their prototypes to an eminent jury.

The winning team at HackWithInfy 2025 comprises Chirag Vijayvergiya, Nainish Rai, Haneesh Pilli, and Vibhav Bhartiya. They developed Multimodal Earth Analyst, an AI-powered geospatial intelligence platform that autonomously fuses time-series satellite imagery with spatial and semantic data to deliver dynamic, evidence-backed insights on how places evolve over time. By integrating satellite-driven change detection with OpenStreetMap, census, and infrastructure datasets, their platform generates interactive dashboards and interpretable visuals, empowering city planners, NGOs, and local governments with actionable insights that go beyond static maps.

The winning team of HackWithInfy 2025 was awarded INR 3,00,000, the first runner-up received INR 1,50,000, and the second runner-up was awarded INR 1,00,000. In addition, the best coder of the hackathon was recognized with the title Champion of Champions for demonstrating outstanding coding skills. This year, the title was awarded to Kommu Venkata Sasidhar for his exemplary work on developing Precision Farming Advisor, an intelligent agricultural decision-support platform that leverages satellite data, crop health monitoring, weather forecasts, and market intelligence to deliver actionable insights for Indian farmers.

HackWithInfy 2025 was more than a coding challenge; it was a movement that shaped conversations, inspired innovation, and strengthened our talent pipeline. From its February launch through college connect sessions, seven HackWithInfy Level Up YouTube Live sessions with Strategic Technology Group (STG) experts, and a nationwide Round 1 coding test in July, the journey culminated in the selection of the top 100 coders for the Grand Finale in August. This structured engagement ensured continuous learning and mentorship, making HackWithInfy a platform for future-ready talent development.

Since its inception, HackWithInfy has engaged more than 11 lakh engineering students from over 3,500 institutes across India. The program has won over 15 international awards, including 10 Brandon Hall Gold Awards for recruitment marketing, employer branding, and candidate experience, a Stevie Silver Award for Best Youth Employment Strategy, and multiple Economic Times Global HR awards, among others. It has grown into one of India’s most prestigious coding competitions, strengthening academia–industry collaboration and reaffirming Infosys’ commitment to technology for good.
