Speaker Profiles
Pravin Rao, Chief Operating Officer, and Executive Member of the Board, Infosys
Pravin Rao has over 28 years of industry experience and is responsible for driving growth and differentiation across portfolios at Infosys. Additionally, he oversees global delivery, quality, productivity, supply chain, and business enabler functions.
Since joining Infosys in 1986, Pravin has held a number of senior leadership roles such as Chairperson of Infosys BPO, Head of Infrastructure Management Services, Delivery Head for Europe, and Head of Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods, Logistics and Life Sciences. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from Bangalore University, India.
Samson David, Senior Vice President and Global Head for Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security
Samson works closely with global 2000 clients to help define and build their cloud and infrastructure strategies and run end-to-end IT operations. He is also on the board of ODCA (Open Data Center Alliance). In his previous role, Samson was a Member of the Board and Chief Operating Officer of EdgeVerve Ltd, which is a fully owned Infosys subsidiary focused on products and platforms business. In this role, he was responsible for product management, engineering, and go-to-market of all products and platforms at EdgeVerve.
Prior to this, Samson was a Senior Vice President and Global Head, Business Platforms, Infosys. Here he was responsible for leveraging the power of Infosys cloud and industry expertise to create and monetize Intellectual Property (IP) and provide clients with measurable outcome-based solutions to their business problems.
During his tenure at Infosys, Samson has held several key positions including Head Delivery and Operations for the Asia Pacific Region and Head Communications in the Media and Entertainment business unit, USA. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the College of Engineering, Pune.
