Event overview

Typically, manufacturing operations and support personnel spend too much time trying to navigate a complex information landscape to locate data, extract it, and combine it with data from other systems to gain insights about the assets and manufacturing processes they support and service. At Eli Lilly as a part of their Digital Plant journey, a program called “DaVinci” (among many others) was created to address this problem head-on beginning with Engineering assets and process related data with a vision to expand the platform, tools, functions, and features to the entire manufacturing data end-to-end, from raw-material to drug product to the patient. DaVinci is a comprehensive data integration platform with embedded data visualization, analytics, and knowledge sharing capability that also provides the flexibility for users to bring their own data and tools to the platform via “plug and play” functionality and provides a shared work-bench to conduct quick analytics on near-real-time data to gain timely insights on the manufacturing processes. By making it easier for engineers-to-operators to find and analyze data, DaVinci is projected to deliver significant productivity benefits as well as enable better performance of our assets and manufacturing processes.

Description

Today, this webinar will talk more about Lilly’s digital journey through our DaVinci program in “Making the Complex Simple”. Infosys, who partnered with Lilly on this program, will provide the technology provider perspective. To complete the story, we will also hear an analyst’s point of view on the program, along with inputs on what the rest of the industry is doing to tackle manufacturing operations analytics.
