Event Overview
BangaloreIT.biz is India’s most prominent IT event. It is an 11-year-old initiative by the Government of Karnataka that has helped boost the industry’s potential. What started as BangaloreIT.com is now BangaloreIT.biz, meaning complete business. The new, reconstructed IT super highway is a gateway of limitless possibilities.

Participants of this year’s BangaloreIT.biz can initiate, interact and interlink. The event brings together leaders from diverse backgrounds, their success stories and opinions of industry veterans that will form a platform for a world-class event.

At the event, Infosys presents a session on "IT Connects Telecom" and participates in a panel discussion on the "Role of Digital Convergence in Reaching out to a Billion People."

Speaker Profile

Dr. Sanjoy Paul heads research and innovation in the Communications, Media and Entertainment practice at Infosys. Earlier, he was a Research Professor at WINLAB, Rutgers University, and Founder of RelevantAd Technologies Inc. He spent five years as the Director of Wireless Networking Research at Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies, and as the CTO of two start-up companies based in New York. At Bell Labs, he was a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff. He was the chief architect of Lucent's IPWorX Caching and Content Distribution product line.

Deepak Swamy heads the strategy development for Infosys’ global Communications, Media and Entertainment practice. Most recently, he was a Partner with Infosys Consulting in London where he advised communications companies on business and operational strategies. He also led Infosys’ innovation solutions portfolio across verticals. Deepak has 18 years of consulting and entrepreneurial experience in communications innovation. He has worked with communications companies across North America and Europe, enabling them to conceptualize and implement innovative business and technology solutions in convergence and new service platforms.
