Session description

Marketing, trade and sales have traditionally operated in their silos. Playbooks developed by marketers rarely reach the sales representatives in their intended shape. Trade plans and promotional schemes are rarely made available to sales representatives in time. Significant incremental revenue and margin can only be unlocked when marketing, trade and sales teams work seamlessly. Join us to discuss and share experiences, challenges, best practices, and the way forward to making this happen.

There is a clear shift in the preferences and behavior of consumers towards digital. As a result, most CPG companies have shifted their focus on knowing and engaging with consumers across multiple channels. However, driving profitable growth cannot be limited to just that. Know, engage, profit – clearly needs a much broader value-chain view of the power of digital.

Where do CPG companies direct their digital investments? Is it marketing, sales, e-commerce, supply chain, manufacturing, sourcing, organization enablement, or emerging markets?
