Infosys, a Platinum sponsor of the technology forum, will host a joint session with Bekins Van Lines to share insights into legacy systems migration in the logistics industry and the technology program currently underway at Bekins. The speakers will discuss challenges faced in Bekins' mainframe technology environment, drivers for modernizing Bekins' technology, and the framework being used for modernization.

Randy Valentino has been the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Information Technology at The Bekins Company since October 1996. Before joining Bekins, he was the Director of Information Systems at Amersham Holdings, a health sciences and producer of nuclear pharmaceuticals company. Randy has worked in various management positions at Hollister Incorporate, GATX Corporation and EDS. He is active in a number of technical management forums.

Jeff Sides has over 20 years of experience in the moving industry. Currently the Director of Business Solutions at Bekins Van Lines, Jeff has held various management positions including Vice President and General Manager of MiniMoves, Inc., Vice President of Information Technology at iMove.com, and Director of a Program Management Office at Allied Van Lines. He has been responsible for a number of large scale IT projects - implementing enterprise wide solutions for order management, shipment tracking, rating, billing and performance reporting. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Western Illinois University and an MBA from North Central College.

Vishnu Veerubhotla has over 11 years of experience in managing and developing enterprise applications. He is experienced in Java and J2EE technologies, and his engagement experience includes IT strategy initiatives, global deployment of mission critical applications, middleware implementations, application design and development. Vishnu is a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He holds a Bachelors degree in Technology from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, India.

Jason Richard is the Associate Vice President for the Parcel Express & Logistics and Airline practices at Infosys Technologies. He is responsible for the delivery of customer services and development of industry-focused business models and solutions. Jason is a member of the Executive Council of the Transportation and Services business unit.

Infosys will also host an interactive roundtable session on 3PL specific technology and also provide opportunities for one-to-one meetings with solution experts.
