Bharat Gupta and Ganapathi Subramaniam present Infosys' approach on "Taming the tide of Business Transformation using TM Forum Standards - NGOSS, eTOM, TAM and SID".

Session Overview
The proposed Infosys approach enables telcos to effectively use TM Forum standards - eTOM, TAM and SID framework - in taming the big transformation tide. The approach has been used in analysis of OSS/BSS application portfolio of a large telecom operator. It starts with data-gathering of various applications, application segmentation based on TM Forum's eTOM and TAM, and functional and technical health assessment of an application for business transformation.



Bharat M. Gupta is a Principal Architect in the Communication Service Providers IBU. Bharat is currently engaged in business process and solution consulting, including thought leadership and solutions innovation. He focuses on BSS layer including Billing, CRM, and Enterprise Application Integration. Bharat has 15 years of professional experience in the telecommunication industry including business and technical roles encompassing Communications Service providers, Telecom Product Vendors and Research & Development.

Ganapathi Subramanian is a Business Manager in the Communication Service Provider business unit, responsible for identifying and implementing client-specific business solutions in the areas of Network Services and Service Delivery. Ganapathi has over 15 years of experience in Telecom Services and Technology including six years as the Director of Engineering & Services Management at a leading Telecom & IP Service provider.
