Climate Change Advocacy

Infosys aligns its climate-related public policy engagement and advocacy efforts with the objectives of the Paris Agreement through its long-standing commitment to environmental stewardship, climate leadership, and ecosystem-wide collaboration. Having remained carbon neutral for seven consecutive years, Infosys has further strengthened its commitment through its refreshed ESG Vision 2030, which includes more ambitious climate targets. Infosys has set an aspiration to become Climate Positive by 2030, going beyond net zero and significantly accelerating climate action beyond the mid-century emissions balance envisioned under the Paris Agreement.

Beyond its own operations, Infosys advances climate action through active participation in more than 25 industry associations and forums, including NASSCOM, the World Economic Forum (WEF), FICCI, and the US Chamber of Commerce, leveraging these platforms to promote responsible and sustainable business practices. Infosys also drives broader systemic transformation through initiatives such as ASSURE (Accelerating Sustainable and Super-Efficient Real Estate), which seeks to enable 100 million sq. ft. of high-performance commercial buildings in India by 2030, and its support for Solar Decathlon India, helping advance net-zero building solutions and collective climate action. Infosys actively engages with regulators and energy supply companies (ESCOMs) in various regions to enable favorable renewable energy policies and greater adoption of renewables by corporates in India. Together, these commitments, partnerships, and advocacy initiatives demonstrate Infosys' approach to ensuring that its public engagement activities are consistent with its climate ambitions and support the goals of the Paris Agreement.
