API Architecture Simplifies Reporting

A global full-service bank sought a digital solution to address dynamic management and regulatory reporting requirements as well as compliance deadlines. Infosys leveraged baseline templates of cross-border regulations to design new report formats and create a repository of reporting templates. The Infosys team combined Python-based APIs and Angular-based web UI to develop an automated reporting solution.

The Infosys solution ensures accurate and timely reporting by all legal constituents of the universal bank. Notably, the centralized platform standardizes regulatory and management reporting, while allowing business users to configure variables for ad hoc reporting. In addition, users can modify reporting formats based on requirements.

Infosys created an intuitive dashboard to monitor report generation and enable data validation and rectification of errors. Our team adopted the XBRL format to support data interpretation and analysis. The automated solution minimizes the effort and time for reporting and enables the bank to comply with emerging regulations.
